The Department of Public Works is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the government's development programs concerning the construction and maintenance of the road network, the construction and maintenance of government buildings, the implementation of projects with the public and private partnership in the exploitation of state land and promoting it. Reconstruction in the execution of small port works and beach protection projects, the execution and maintenance of various other government projects, traffic management of all cities and promoting sustainable mobility. It also offers specialized services to other government departments, semi-governmental organizations and individuals.
