The research project "Energy Upgrading of the Historic Buildings of the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Cyprus and Loggia - Heraklion Town Hall" with the acronym "ANAVATHMEZO", is co-funded by the European Union (ERDF) and national funds of Greece and Cyprus through the Interreg V-A Greece-Cyprus Cooperation Program 2014-2020, in the framework of the fourth call for proposals of strategic character under the specific objective 2.1 "Increasing energy savings in public buildings".
The implementation of the project has been undertaking by a consortium of 6 beneficiary organizations leading by the University of Cyprus, in which the Department of Electromechanical Services and the Department of Public Works of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works of the Republic of Cyprus, the Presidency of the Republic of Cyprus, the Municipality of Heraklion and the Special Research Fund Account of the Hellenic Mediterranean University are also participate.
